International Day Of Biodiversity

We celebrated the International Day of Biological Diversity (Biodiversity) last week. An important reminder that everything in our planet is connected, and it functions because all pieces of biodiverse ecosystems flow in unison to make it work, from fungi’s mycelium network to plants and trees, from pollinators to apex predators to all in-between members of the food chain in ocean and land; From jungle to polar environments, nature’s balance is so extraordinary that it works because every tiny part of the giant equation in the natural world does its part.
A holistic universe. To strive to protect and be aware of this means adopting sustainable practices to protect biodiversity and to honor Earth’s limits, which we have now surpassed.
